shopping addiction? perhaps. i picked up three random polishes recently and thought i would share. these purchases mark the last gasp before my fall/winter "no buy" commences. i also just received my orly color pass subscription box, with the "darlings of defiance" holiday 2017 collection (swatch and review soon). so, i have plenty of new polishes to see me through the upcoming long, dark post-daylight-savings nights. "holly-day" china glaze from the 2011 holiday "Let It Snow" collection, i've been on a search for this polish since 2014. i finally spotted it at my local t.j. maxx this past week. great formula, and a terrific color. a little more yellow-toned than zoya's "hunter," there is something kind of halloween-ish about this polish. if you have read "smart girl dumb show," you know that i *love* a dark green polish. i will have to rank them all soon. "but first, brunch" salon perfect this bright tangerine jelly with gold micro-glitter and shimmer is part of the "neon pop!" collection. i have heard much about this polish on youtube, and was inspired to pick it up upon a recent trip to the walmarts. it is the only salon perfect polish that i currently own. i had heard tell that this polish had a difficult formula, but a stunning result on the nail. but i found the formula strong, easy and build-able in two coats. not completely my style, and in no one's recommendations for fall, this polish does have something special: it is fun and classy at the same time. i shall keep it close and likely bring it out again on a warm february day in 2018. "stay off the lawn!!" opi
from the 2016 fall "washington d.c." collection, this polish was recommended to me by a.girl.and.her.curls on instagram. (gorgeous recent swatches of the whole opi fall collection) i like that the color leans more deep dusty teal than opi's "christmas gone plaid," and that it is a one-coat formula. i love having so many deep green options this winter! if you are wondering, i picked this up at t.j. maxx as well. happy little hauls to you this halloween, bitches! thanks for reading.
