sunday, january 31, 2016 "picante" sinful shine by sinful colors target sinful colors is well known as good brand with a low price (typically $2). I have a large collection of both sinful color cremes and the sinful shine with gel tech. if im honest, I prefer the sinful shine (denoted by the silver cap) which are a little more ($3). I have experienced the rare "dud" polish with sinful colors: hard to manage formulas, easily chipped or staining colors. but the sinful shine with gel tech line seems immune to these issues. they are simply the best polish for the price. "picante" was no exception. beautiful and bright, easy to apply, almost opaque in one coat. i am attempting to own all the sinful shine cremes. word to the wise, sinful shine does not have as many colors as the sinful colors collection, however all of the most popular sinful colors polishes are dupped (duplicated) in the sinful shine collection. bottom line: look for that color in the silver cap before you settle for the black cap. purchase note: you can find these lots of places, walmart, target, walgreens, etc. look for sales. i got this polish for 1/2 price: $1.50 instead of $3! tuesday, february 2, 2016 "shabby drab" color club ebay pretty gray with drop of violet. always heard that color club had great formulas. whomever i heard that from was absolutely correct. yes, this is a "mini" sized bottle: 0.25 oz. I bought this with 3 other small bottles in a set, but i don't know what collection it comes from. I should get more "minis" so I can try more and more! purchase note: i can only find these online. if you know a retailer that carries color club, please tell me! thursday, february 4, 2016 "a-piers to be tan" opi tj maxx opi does cremes so well. I forget about that. this is from the fall 2013 san francisco collection. love the color, love the formula, love it love it love it. why did it take me so long to wear this?? purchase note: if no one has mentioned it to you, the best kept secret for buying certain mid-range to high-end polishes is tj maxx and marshalls. at all times the ones near me have opi, essie, orly, china glaze and I just spotted deborah lipman and butter london. your selection is limited, but many times i can score 2 or 3 really sought after shades, usually 1 year or 3-4 months after release. and for 1/2 price or better, check it out. wrap upi liked every polish this week! "a-piers to be tan" by opi really surprised me with how beautiful and different it appears on the nail. it was my fav. the other 2 polishes had really great formulas, but I have 2 dupes of "picante" in my collection already and I feel like the color club gray could be found elsewhere easily. if you lack these colors yourself, id say pick them both up.
must have: "a-piers to be tan" opi (check it with your skin tone) if you need a bright orangy red: go for "picante" sinful shine pick up color club online if you need a mid-range gray
