happy halloween! something poetic about october here. something about the leaves falling, and tights rising, and dogs barking, can't fly without umbrella here. this is what i wore this october. "just bitten" orly timely, as this is the scarlet jelly from orly's autumn 2017 collection. squishy and sanguine, this was my perfect red this fall. "black cherry" with "velvet kaleidoscope" with orly matte top coat i really liked this combo. i might prefer the shiny to the matte for these polishes, but it was fun. all of these polishes (even the specialty top coat) were from the orly 2017 fall "velvet dream" collection. "diamond in the raw" sinfulshine with gel tech this charcoal-ish metallic foil polish is something i don't normally reach for, but i really dug it this month. it makes me feel pretty. this was featured in my fall picks for this year. "combat blue-ts" china glaze from the china glaze 2016 fall "rebel" collection, this matte blue shimmery demi-metallic is my cup of tea this time of year. i stared at my nails for the three days that i wore this! like "diamond in the raw' this was featured in my fall picks for this year. tr"moonbaby" floss gloss from my new york haul, this floss gloss is gorgeous. it is a great alternative to the "mrs. tony montana" stark white that i had rocked this summer a bunch. "saucy jack" butterlondon featured in my recent butterlondon haul, this was at the top of my must-have list for many years. it remains slightly sheer after 2 coats, but no streaks. love it. "most sinful" sinful shine with gel tech almost a neon blue, this cobalt is memorizing. so charming, a bright fall polish. love it. this polish featured in my recent top 10 sinful colors blog. the next three polishes are from the 2017 orly holiday collection, "darlings of defiance." "faux pearl" orly a little thick, but manageable with a few drops of lacquer-thinner, this polish is sure to be one i reach for over and over again this fall and winter. such a good formula. "penny leather" orly something really distinctive, i adore this sauce. this is my favorite from this season's collection. it's unexpected and flattering. "secondhand jade" a greyed-out, smokey, dark green, anyone? i'll have seconds. "i canolli wear opi" opi
from opi's fall 2015 "venice" collection, i've heard that this shade is the closest to opi's infamous "my boyfriend scales walls." i think it's pretty great on its own merits. the application is sweet! hope that you had a good october and enjoy a fabulous november. happy haunting, bitches. thanks for reading.
